Jalasoft showcases its commitment to sustainability through responsible, traceable waste management practices and measurable environmental impact worldwide.

Jalasoft continues to strengthen its global commitment to environmental responsibility through a multi-year, traceable waste management initiative designed to turn environmental compliance into real, measurable impact.
Led by its Quality Control Processes team, Jalasoft has transformed waste management into a responsible, auditable, and outcome-driven process, aligned with legal requirements and the company’s broader environmental commitment. The initiative demonstrates that a global software engineering company can play an active role in environmental stewardship—even in contexts where waste management infrastructure remains a significant challenge.
From Compliance to Impact
Jalasoft’s approach goes beyond meeting regulatory standards. It reflects a long-term vision where environmental responsibility is embedded into daily operations, supported by clear processes, trusted partners, and documented traceability.
Between 2023 and 2025, Jalasoft significantly increased the volume of responsibly managed waste, reflecting both operational growth and a stronger culture of environmental accountability:
- 2023: 993 kg
- 2024: 6,692 kg
- 2025:8,282 kg of waste transferred to authorized environmental managers
This growth represents a shift from internal order to measurable environmental impact, ensuring waste is no longer a risk but a resource handled safely and responsibly.
Responsible Management by Category (2025)
In 2025 alone, Jalasoft managed and transferred waste across multiple categories, including:
- 4,110 kg of ferrous scrap
- 1,750 kg of wood
- 1,125.9 kg of recyclable waste
- 897.5 kg of non-ferrous scrap
- 314 kg of electronic waste (RAEE)
- 84.7 kg of batteries and hazardous materials
Each category was separated correctly at the source and handled through specialized, authorized partners.
Traceability Through Trusted Environmental Partners
To guarantee transparency and compliance, Jalasoft works exclusively with authorized environmental management companies, each providing formal documentation and traceability certificates:
- Ecorecolectora for recyclable waste, issuing official Certificates of Traceability
- BATEBOL S.A. for the final disposal of batteries, supported by Certificates of Disposal and Traceability
- RECUMET S.R.L. for the treatment and valorization of metallic waste
- RAUVIS for the collection and management of used oil, refrigerant, and diesel residues
- CADEMET for the disposal and recovery of decommissioned metal tanks
This partner-based model ensures that every transfer is documented, auditable, and aligned with environmental regulations, reinforcing Jalasoft’s commitment to responsible operations.
A Long-Term Environmental Vision
What began as a compliance initiative has evolved into a culture of environmental accountability. Jalasoft’s waste management program reflects a broader philosophy: global technology companies must take responsibility not only for the software they build, but for the operational footprint they leave behind.
By prioritizing traceability, proper separation, and long-term partnerships, Jalasoft continues to demonstrate that sustainable practices and business excellence can grow together.
